AT ADARA’S REQUEST-(Unsung Heroes)

You have heard us sing sings of the heroes
You have heard us sing songs of the dead
This song is not one – to fall under that banner
This tells of the heroes unsaid

So let us all raise up our voices
To hear lions call from afar
For those who do things – that no others would wish
We sing and we call a Hurrah (Hurrah!)

We sing for the heroes unspoken, we sing and we call a hurrah! (Hurrah!)

Let us sing for Ri-tualcon-tributors
And for healer who save us from death
For they all help to keep – us succumbing to sleep
And stopping us draw our last breath

And there’s many a hasty Lion Runner
Who have ran ‘til their fit for the grave
And delivered the plans – to bring vict’ry to hand
Believe me - our lives they have saved!

We sing for the heroes unspoken, we sing and we call a hurrah! (Hurrah!)

Let us praise the long suffering gate guard
Who stop us all as we return
From fighting and strife – and from risking our lives
All covered in bruises and burns

We don’t care it takes her half an hour
As Asteria clears us through the gate
And it can’t be a laugh - for they are so short staffed
And the language they all have to take!

We sing for the heroes unspoken, we sing and we call a hurrah! (Hurrah!)

So the next time you hear a Night Captain
Ask the populace for volunteers
Don’t stare in the distance – or shuffle your feet
Or turn a blind eye and deaf ear.

Simply smile and pivot your shoulder.
To raise your hand isn’t that hard
And don’t leave those jobs – to the same old poor sods
Take a telling, from Jøsef the Bard!

And we sing for the heroes unspoken, we sing and we call a hurrah! (Hurrah!)
Yes we sing for the heroes unspoken, we sing and we call a hurrah ! (Hurrah!)
